General Notary Questions
Q: What kind of notarization do I need?
A notary public cannot answer this question for you, but we can help. There are two common notarization in Maryland, an acknowledgement and a jurat. An acknowledgement, acknowledges that you are signing of your own free will and verifying you identity. A jurat through oath or affirmation, the signer confirms the truthfulness of a document.
Q: What do I need to bring to my notary appointment?
Please bring a valid, government-issued photo ID (e.g., driver’s license, passport, or state ID). The document(s) you need notarized should be filled out (but not signed) beforehand. If your document requires a witness, you are responsible for for supplying one with a vaild, government-issued ID. If you need us to supply a witness, there will be an additional fee.
Q: Can you come to my location?
Yes! We offer mobile notary services across Maryland. We come to homes, offices, hospitals, law firms, and more—wherever it’s most convenient for you.
Q: How much does notary service cost?
Prices vary depending on the number of signatures, distance traveled, and service type. Contact us for a quick quote.
Apostille & Courier Services
Q: What is an apostille?
An apostille certifies that a document issued in the U.S. is valid abroad. It’s commonly needed for international use—marriage, business, education, etc.
Q: Do you handle apostille processing?
Yes, we handle apostille and authentication services for Maryland-issued documents. We also offer courier delivery to the Secretary of State on your behalf.
Q: How long does the apostille process take?
Standard processing usually takes 5–10 business days, but rush services are available. Processing time depends on the issuing office and shipping method.
Q: Can I drop off my documents or do you pick them up?
Both! You can mail them, schedule a local pickup, or meet us at a neutral location.
Loan Signing Services
Q: What is a loan signing agent?
A loan signing agent is a notary trained to handle and notarize real estate loan documents. We work with title companies, lenders, and escrow agents.
Q: Are you certified to handle loan closings?
Yes, we are Licensed Independent Title Insurance Producers, background-checked, and trained to assist with a wide range of real estate documents.
Q: Can you help after hours or on weekends?
Absolutely. We offer evening and weekend availability for loan signings and urgent notarization. We also offer 24 hour availability.
Remote Online Notarization
Q: Do you offer remote online notarization (RON)?
Yes. If you’re out of state or can’t meet in person, we provide secure and legal online notarization through a verified RON platform.
Q: What do I need for a remote notarization?
You’ll need a device with a camera, stable internet, and a valid photo ID. We’ll guide you through the secure online session.
Other Questions
Q: Do you notarize wills, power of attorney, or medical forms?
Yes. We frequently notarize estate documents, healthcare directives, powers of attorney, and more. Witnesses can also be arranged if needed.
Q: Are you insured and bonded?
Yes. We are fully insured and commissioned in the State of Maryland. Your documents are always in trusted hands. Our information is publicly listed with the Maryland Secretary of State.
Q: How do I schedule an appointment?
